Wing Chun Origins was founded by Javier Garcia as an independent platform dedicated to documenting, preserving, and examining Wing Chun through long-form articles, interviews, and practitioner perspectives.
The project began from a simple observation: much of Wing Chun’s knowledge—technical, historical, and experiential—was scattered, informal, or disappearing as generations changed. Wing Chun Origins was created to provide a central space where ideas, research, and viewpoints could be recorded and shared without commercial pressure or lineage politics.
Under Javier Garcia’s direction, the platform focuses on editorial quality, respectful discussion, and clarity of presentation. Content is selected for educational value rather than popularity, with an emphasis on long-term practice, historical context, and thoughtful analysis.
Wing Chun Origins operates independently and is supported through limited publication fees and carefully separated partnerships, allowing the site to remain focused on content rather than volume or advertising.
